Prohibited Items
Food products from countries serviced by the platform, except those that meet all of the following criteria:
- The actual weight of the products addressed to a private individual does not exceed 10 kg;
- The products are shipped in the manufacturer’s packaging and the packaging has not been opened;
- The products do not require temperature control (i.e., can be stored at normal room temperature).
Includes substances or products (unprocessed, partly processed, or processed) intended for human consumption.
Substances or mixtures of natural, synthetic, or biotechnological origin used for contraception, prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of human diseases, or for altering bodily functions. The list also includes vitamins and dietary supplements (DS). Exceptions apply only when all of the following are true:
- The actual weight of vitamins or DS addressed to a private individual does not exceed 10 kg;
- They are shipped in unopened manufacturer packaging;
- They do not require temperature control.
Applies to substances or products (unprocessed, partly processed, or processed) intended for human consumption.
Alcohol-based perfumes, cosmetics, and other flammable aerosols
(e.g., deodorants, sprays, gel polishes).
Alcohol, alcoholic beverages, beer, tobacco products, heated tobacco (HTP), e-liquids for electronic cigarettes (with or without nicotine) in cartridges, refill containers, etc.
5. Cash (banknotes, coins), foreign currency, bank metals, precious and semi-precious stones (cut or uncut, polished or unpolished), jewellery, payment documents, and securities
(e.g., gold, silver, platinum-group metals in any form; diamonds, rubies, pearls, amber, amethysts, turquoise, agate; shares, bonds, coupons, bills of exchange, promissory notes, letters of credit, checks, bank drafts, deposit certificates, and similar financial instruments).
Identity documents, work books, permits, licences, and similar papers.
Bank cards.
Antiques (including antique books), items over 100 years old, original works of art (not copies), rare orders and medals classed as cultural valuables
(e.g., paintings, icons, hand-drawn artworks, collages; engravings, prints, lithographs; sculptures; postage or revenue stamps; zoological, botanical, mineralogical, anatomical collections; items of historical, archaeological, palaeontological, ethnographic, or numismatic interest).
Military and dual-use goods, specialised technical devices for covert information gathering
(e.g., bugging devices, shielding materials that absorb RF radiation, telecom equipment with user-side encryption, detection and localisation systems, sniper scopes, collimators, thermal imagers, night-vision devices, items containing GPS trackers, etc.).
All types of weapons (including hunting and sporting arms), parts and ammunition, replicas, full-size models, blank-firing copies, pneumatic, cold, beam, and electroshock weapons, and other items designed for attack or defence
(e.g., machine guns, air rifles, bullets, shells, primers, sabres, hunting knives, nunchucks, knuckle-dusters, pepper spray, laser guns, tasers).
Explosives, explosive devices, and detonators
(e.g., TNT, gunpowder, blasting caps, detonators, safety fuse, detonation cord, ammunition, homemade explosive mixtures, signal/flare rockets, fireworks, railway torpedoes, bengal lights, pyrotechnics, tear-gas canisters).
Live animals and plants, insects, furs, hides, taxidermy, feathers, ivory and ivory products.
Pornographic materials, counterfeit and falsified goods.
Narcotics, psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors, incl. cannabis in any form for any purpose.
Human remains, organs, tissues, ashes, DNA tests, blood/urine samples, etc.
Unlabelled containers with liquids, powders, or other substances of unknown composition or purpose.
Seeds and planting material
(e.g., crop seeds, potatoes, fruit, forest and ornamental plants, cut flowers from quarantine-risk regions).
Personal belongings if sender and recipient are the same individual.
Flammable liquids and solids or substances prone to spontaneous combustion
(e.g., petrol, kerosene, acetone, methanol, methyl ether, brake fluid, carbon disulfide, solvents, glues, perfumes, nail polish, paint, cleaners, empty fuel tanks, metallic potassium/sodium/calcium, white/phosphorus, nitrocellulose, fireworks, coal samples, pellets, firewood, magnesium, metal powders).
Toxic and highly active substances in any physical state
(e.g., brucine, nicotine, strychnine, formalin, antifreeze, ethylene glycol, mercury, cyanides, Zyklon, similar poisons).
Corrosive substances
(e.g., hydrochloric, sulfuric, nitric acid; potassium/sodium lye; bleach, battery electrolyte, paint strippers).
Radioactive and infectious substances
(e.g., medical isotopes, gamma-probe heads, microorganisms, prions, vaccines, clinical waste, bio-samples).
Used personal items (clothing, footwear) in dirty condition; used auto/aircraft parts.
Ukrainian vehicle licence plates.
Poaching equipment
(e.g., electric fishing devices, monofilament nets, hunting traps).
Metals, scrap metal, and untreated timber
(e.g., rare-earth metals, alloys, shavings, ingots, nickel powder, tungsten, molybdenum, cobalt intermediates, etc.).
Shipments addressed to foreign courts, banks, enforcement services, PO Boxes, or offices of other postal operators.
Data carriers with restricted access (discs or flash drives requiring a password).
Used vehicle tyres of any kind.
Any gases for household or industrial use
(e.g., pressurised cylinders, lighters, propane-butane, nitrogen, neon, argon, oxygen, chlorine).
Soil samples.
Prepared animal and fish feed.
Any other potentially dangerous cargo
(e.g., oil cakes, fertilisers, dry ice, asbestos, vinegar, magnetised materials, internal combustion engines, lawn mowers, standalone lithium or metal batteries, segways, EVs, e-bikes, hoverboards, airbags, breathing apparatus, compressed-gas cylinders, chainsaws, refrigeration units with refrigerants, etc.).
34. Printed materials produced in Russia, Belarus, or occupied Ukrainian territories, and books containing works by authors who were Russian citizens at any time after 1991 (except former citizens who are now—or were at death—Ukrainian citizens and not citizens of the aggressor state).
Any other items prohibited for export by the seller’s country / import into Ukraine.
** Recipients must be of legal age according to the laws of the destination country. Shipments addressed to minors will only be accepted if prior approval has been obtained. Please contact our support center before shipping in such cases.
*** Please note: There is currently an exception for European countries (Poland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, and Turkey). For these countries, power banks, generators, chargers, EcoFlow devices, and standalone batteries are allowed for shipment via Mall.ua. There is a value limit for shipments to Turkey — the total order value must not exceed €1500. This restriction does not apply to other listed European countries.
**** Please note: For shipments to the USA, standalone lithium and metal batteries (not part of equipment), non-dry batteries, segways, electric vehicles, electric motorcycles, hoverboards, power banks, generators, chargers, and EcoFlow products are strictly prohibited and are included in the Mall.ua restricted items list.
